David received his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marion College of Fond du Lac. He is a Certified General Appraiser. He currently is a Practicing Affiliate Member of the Appraisal Institute, General Accredited Appraiser through the National Association of Realtors, an Associate Member of the American Society of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers, and a member of the International Right of Way Association. Mr. Steiro is currently the chairman of the Transportation Committee for the Wisconsin Chapter of the International Right of Way Association.
Mr. Steiro specializes in easement appraisal work. His clients include the Wisconsin DNR and Wisconsin DOT, various Federal Governmental agencies, land trusts, along with attorneys and individual property owners. He has taken several seminars and classes on the topic of Conservation Easements, most recently a week long class in Denver, Colorado put on by the Appraisal Institute. He has also had the opportunity to assist in credentialed seminars about conservation easements for assessor training.
Mr. Steiro also oversees the commercial staff. He has completed and supervised a wide variety of commercial and industrial appraisal assignments throughout the northeast Wisconsin communities.
David has worked on several acquisition projects for both the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources and the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. He has education and experience in performing right-of-way, Yellow Book, and Stewardship Grant assignments.
Mr. Steiro also does a significant amount of work providing second opinion appraisals for private parties that are being impacted by right-of-way condemnation orders.
